The 2026 FIFA World Cup will take place in Canada, Mexico and the United States from June 11 to July 19, 2026. Among the 16 host cities, Canada will host matches in the two following stadiums:

  • BC Place (Vancouver); and

  • BMO Field (Toronto).

As Canada is the sole first-time host nation among the three co-hosting nations of the 2026 World Cup, both BMO Field and BC Place will stage World Cup matches for the first time. Both stadiums regularly host Canadian senior men’s national team matches. BC Place previously served as a major venue for the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup, hosting several matches, including the final.

Below is a preview of the three host stadiums, from the year the stadium was built, to the tenants that play in the stadium, to some of the iconic matches that took place on the stadium’s pitch.
