The data are in! With the 2025 Major League Soccer (MLS) regular season concluded and the 2025 MLS Cup Playoffs Western Conference quarterfinals wrapped up before the November 2025 international break, we collected and published data regarding payroll and transfer values for the three Canadian MLS clubs — CF Montréal, Toronto FC and Vancouver Whitecaps FC — and their players.

While Montréal and Toronto both missed the MLS Cup Playoffs and have already conducted offseason roster moves, Vancouver will be competing in the MLS Cup Playoffs Western Conference semifinals against Los Angeles FC. The winner of that match will advance to the Western Conference final, the final round before the MLS Cup Final.

The data below, which are divided into several charts, include the following indicators for each of the three Canadian MLS clubs in 2025:

  • squad payroll;

  • the 10 highest-paid players;

  • squad transfer value;

  • the 10 highest-valued players; and

  • the transfer values for each of the four broad positions: goalkeeping, defence, midfield and attack.

The payroll figures are in US dollars, whereas the transfer value figures are in euros.

The data presented throughout this article are those available as of November 10, 2025.
