Ahead of the 2025-26 Premier League (EPL) season, we created a preview of all 20 EPL clubs, including the three clubs that were promoted from the EFL Championship in 2024-25: league winners Leeds United; league runners-up Burnley FC and Promotion Playoffs winners Sunderland AFC.

These EPL club previews include text and posters detailing a short biography of the club — including the club’s stadium, its capacity, the manager and the number of EPL titles won — and the summer 2025 transfers: both incoming and outgoing players. The transfers section excludes the following:

  • players who returned to their parent club from a loan stint;

  • players whose contracts expired after June 2025; and

  • players who signed with a club’s first team after graduating from that club’s academy or from that club’s reserve team.

This collection of articles is divided into four parts. Each part includes five clubs listed in alphabetical order. Part 2 consists of previews for the following EPL clubs:

  • 2024-25 EFL Championship runners-up, and newly promoted, Burnley FC;

  • Chelsea FC;

  • Crystal Palace;

  • Everton FC; and

  • Fulham FC.

Burnley FC

Transfer Update

Since August 11, Burnley signed two additional players and sold or loaned nine additional players.

Burnley’s two additional signings are:

  • MF, Florentino (one-year loan from SL Benfica); and

  • FW, Jacob Bruun Larsen (€4.0 million from VfB Stuttgart).

Burnley’s nine additional sales and loans are:

  • GK, Etienne Green (free transfer to FC Fredericia);

  • DF, Shurandy Sambo (one-year loan to Sparta Rotterdam);

  • MF, Oluwaseun Adewumi (one-year loan to Cercle Brugge);

  • MF, Josh Brownhill (free transfer to Al-Shabab, Saudi Arabia);

  • MF, Aaron Ramsey (one-year loan to Leicester City);

  • FW, Darko Churlinov (undisclosed amount to Kocaelispor, Türkiye);

  • FW, Luca Koleosho (one-year loan to RCD Espanyol);

  • FW, Benson Manuel (one-year loan to Swansea City); and

  • FW, Michael Obafemi (one-year loan to VfL Bochum).

Chelsea FC

Transfer Update

Since August 13, Chelsea signed two additional players and sold or loaned eight additional players.

Chelsea’s two additional signings are:

  • MF, Facundo Buonanotte (one-year loan from Brighton & Hove Albion); and

  • FW, Alejandro Garnacho (€46.2 million from Manchester United).

Chelsea’s eight additional sales and loans are:

  • DF, Aarón Anselmino (one-year loan to Borussia Dortmund);

  • DF, Ben Chilwell (free transfer to RC Strasbourg);

  • DF, Alfie Gilchrist (€2.3 million to West Bromwich Albion);

  • DF, Renato Veiga (€24.5 million to Villarreal CF);

  • MF, Carney Chukwuemeka (€20.0 million to Borussia Dortmund);

  • FW David Datro Fofana (one-year loan to Fatih Karagümrük, Türkiye);

  • FW, Nicolas Jackson (one-year loan to Bayern Munich);

  • FW, Christopher Nkunku (€37.0 million to AC Milan).

Crystal Palace

Notes:

  • Crystal Palace have signed defender Rio Cardines, and midfielders Hindolo Mustapha and Kaden Rodney from reserve team.

  • The contract of defender and former club captain Joel Ward expired at the end of June 2025; he remains a free agent.

Since August 13, Crystal Palace signed three additional players and sold or loaned five additional players.

Crystal Palace’s three additional signings are:

  • DF, Jaycee Canvot (€23.0 million from Toulouse FC);

  • FW, Yéremy Pino (€30.0 million from Villarreal CF); and

  • FW, Christantus Uche (one-year loan from Getafe CF).

Crystal Palace’s five additional sales and loans are:

  • MF, Eberechi Eze (€69.3 million to Arsenal FC);

  • MF, Matheus França (one-year loan to Vasco da Gama, Brazil);

  • MF, Hindolo Mustapha (one-year loan to FC Nuremberg);

  • FW, Odsonne Édouard (€3.7 million to RC Lens); and

  • FW, Jesurun Rak-Sakyi (one-year loan to Caykur Rizespor, Türkiye).

Everton FC

Notes:

  • Everton have signed midfielder Tyler Onyango and forward Isaac heath from their reserve team.

  • The contract of goalkeeper Billy Crellin expired at the end of June 2025; he remains a free agent.

Everton’s three additional signings are:

  • GK, Tom King (undisclosed amount from Wolverhampton Wanderers);

  • MF, Merlin Röhl (one-year loan from SC Freiburg); and

  • FW, Jack Grealish (one-year loan from Manchester City).

Everton’s four additional sales and loans are:

  • MF, Harrison Armstrong (one-year loan to Preston North End);

  • MF, Tyler Onyango (one-year loan to Stockport County);

  • FW, Youssef Chermiti (€8.6 million to Rangers FC); and

  • FW, Isaac Heath (one-year loan to Accrington Stanley).

Fulham FC

  • FW, Kevin (€40.0 million from Shakhtar Donetsk, Ukraine); and

  • FW, Jonah Kusi-Asare (one-year loan from Bayern Munich).
